Why does the North Shuttle start at 12 noon and the South Shuttle start at 10am? The 10 am shuttle is to accommodate those who walk up from Pfeiffer State park in the morning.
Can I park in the State Park?
Yes, Anyone can park in Pfeiffer State Park, but the day lot use does fill up. Ask for day use Lot 4, and Campsite 31. Plus you wont receive a Passbook
Where can I find Restrooms? There are public restrooms at Andrew Molera State Park, in Pfeiffer State park near the entrance to the Community By Pass Trail near Campsite 31. Nepenthe and the Henry Miller Library both have restrooms as well.
How many vans will there be? Two vans on the north and two vans on the south.
What are the Hours of the Community By Pass Trail? The Community By Pass Trail is open a 1/2 hour before sunrise and a 1/2 hour after sunset
Will there be service to Julia Pfeiffer Burns? There is no Big Sur Shuttle Survice to Julia Pfeiffer Burns.
Can I make a reservation for the Shuttle? The Big Sur Shuttle Survice is on a first come first serve basis. The Shuttle will return.
Whats in the Ambrosia Sauce? You'll have to ask your server.

Where else can I go with the shuttle on the Southside?
The Henry Miller Memorial Library - on Thursdays thru Sundays from 11 AM to 6 PM - the shuttle runs here by request.
What is the Henry Miller Memorial Library?
The Henry Miller Library is a non-profit championing the literary, artistic, and cultural contributions of the late writer, artist, and Big Sur resident Henry Miller. "Today what was once Emil White's one bedroom cabin is a bookstore, cultural, resource center, public gallery/performance/workshop space for artists, writers, musicians, and students. Picnic or lounge under the redwood grove, on the sunny deck, paint, read, write, do nothing..."

Big Sur Adventures at Loma Vista, just past the Deli/Taphouse.
How long is the trail/hike/time spent on foot? The Trail is over a mile long with a 500 ft elevation gain. At the top of the trail you will need to walk 1/4 mile up the road to Loma Vista. Round trip you will hike/walk 2.5 miles.
Can I get to the Hawthorne Gallery? Yes, and the artwork is quite nice. They are open Thursday- Sunday from 11am -6pm
Can I bring my surfboard? No.
What time does the first shuttle leave to go south from the Big Sur Tap House to Nepenthe? 10:00 am
Can people originating on the South Side Use the Shuttle? Yes. Any one who wants to use the Shuttle on the South Side can purchase a ticket from the driver.
Can people leave their cars in the Andrew Molera Parking Lot? No. Cars left overnight will be ticketed.
Are Dogs Allowed? No. Unfortunately we are not allowing your furry friends.
Are there ways to purchase tickets in advance? No, you must purchase tickets from the Andrew Molera Parking Lot. Look for the Shipping container.
Can I make a reservation on the shuttle? No

Is the shuttle still going to be stopping at all the MST spots along the way from Molera to the trail head? No.
How can I access businesses like River Inn, Glean Oaks, The Roadhouse or Fernwood? You can drive there.
Can I bring camping gear, ride the shuttle, and go camp on the South Side of the Pfeiffer Bridge? Absolutely not. With limited emergency resources on the south side, extremely high fire danger, and camping in turnouts being illegal, The Big Sur Shuttle Survice reserves the right to refuse service to anyone who is deemed a renegade camper.
